City Manager

The City of Steubenville form of government, established by Charter in 1984, is known as “Council-Manager.” The City Manager is the Chief Executive Officer and is appointed by the City Council. The City Manager attends all Council/Council Committee meetings and advises them on the status of City projects and other matters relating to City government.

The City Manager oversees the City Departments and is responsible for the daily operations of the City. The City Manager acts as a liaison between the City and any political unit or organization interested in the welfare and growth of the City
